Project Overview
Willen House is a complex refurbishment project in North London, where RED Construction undertook the transformation of an existing building into a modern mixed use development. The scheme required extensive structural adaptation, reconfiguration of internal layouts, and careful integration of new building systems within an ageing structure, creating a highly challenging environment for all trades involved. ABV Contractor delivered a major internal works package, including SFS, drylining, suspended ceilings, full interior finishes, and steel encasement. Working within a live refurbishment meant dealing with uneven existing conditions, restricted access, and constant coordination with structural and MEP teams. Sequencing had to be tightly controlled to maintain programme, and quality checks were essential at every stage to ensure new works aligned seamlessly with retained elements. Through disciplined planning, strong communication, and a highly adaptive site approach, we supported RED Construction in delivering a robust, well finished building that significantly improves the long term performance and usability of the asset.
